The Junior Champions League Tournament was originally set up in 2008 by founder Anthony Walker, the tournament brings the best teams from across the UK to play in a fast paced 1 day tournament. The tournament has grown in size year on year and has gained a following of clubs who come back each year to challenge other top teams from across the UK to see if they can become The Junior Champions League Winners.
Were now into the sixth year of the tournament which takes place at Redcar Towns outstanding Mo Mowlam Memorial Park facility in the North East of England. The tournament this year has got even bigger! Last year we reintroduced the Under 8’s age group category were expanding once again by adding an U16’s! The competition will now be held over 3 days with the hopes of attracting over 200 teams.
The tournament caters for age groups Under 8’s to Under 16’s and only allows entries from teams finishing in the higher reaches of the top divisions in their leagues.

With scouts already attending from a full range of Northern Premier League and Championship teams, it’s a brilliant opportunity for young talent to be showcased and to prove their abilities against the best junior football players in the UK.
This year there is also a 1st ever 7-aside soccer stars tournament based at Middlesbrough Football Club in the Community which could also interest you this is an open invite competition for Under7’s to Under 10’s teams and will be played on Saturday 15th & Sunday 16th June.
